Piper's One Month Pictures

Hi Everyone,

Below are a few of Piper's one month pictures. They turned out so good! The third one down is the one that the studio wants to use. I can't believe that she is 5 weeks old already! I know that is still so young, but when I think about how I have to go back to work in 5 weeks, it breaks my heart! I am going to miss her so much!

These pictures were taken yesterday on our deck. It was such a nice day, and so bright and sunny, we thought it was best to have Piper wear her sunglasses. (Even though we kept her in the shade) She actually didn't mind wearing them. Too Cute!

How Time Flies

Hi Everyone,

Piper will be a month old tomorrow! I can hardly believe that a month has gone by already. She is just as sweet as ever, and we are getting by wonderfully! Yesterday we had her one month pictures taken. She was so good! The pictures turned out so well, that the photographer asked us to sign a release so they can use her picture in the studio!! Maybe we should start "Baby Vogue"!

Piper's Play Date

Piper had a play date with her friend Samantha on Wednesday. (Although she slept through the whole thing) Sammie is the daughter of my friend Rebecca and she is 6 weeks older than Piper. I am posting some pictures below. Don't you just want to grab hold of Sammie's cheeks and not let go?? Too cute!!

First Doctor Appointment

Hi Everyone,

We just got home from Piper's first doctor appointment. Everything looks good. She is now 8 lbs and 20 inches long. They gave her a hearing test since she didn't pass in the left ear at the hospital, but she passed today. That's a relief!

Piper is still getting up every two hours to feed. The doctor said we can increase the amount to 4 ounces - If she will take it. So, I think we will try that tonight. She has no problem sleeping 3-4 hours during the day, but at night she is up every two.

When the nurse was measuring and weighing her, she pee'd all over the scale. Poor thing, I am sure it was cold. At first I felt bad, but then, I realized that it happens all the time.
