4th of July 2009

Hi Everyone,

It has been so long since I have posted to this blog. I have been using facebook more and more. So, hopefully someone still reads this. :) Anyway, Piper is 15 months now. She is doing GREAT! She is walking and talking and is SO SMART!! We truly enjoy every minute of her!
Yesterday we spent the day at Uncle Chuck and Aunt Sheri's house. Then, at sundown, we hopped on the boat for the Minneola Bay fireworks. FUN FUN! Piper was such a good girl and stayed up until 10:30!! What a trooper!! Below are a couple of pictures.

Piper's One!!

Hi Everyone,

I can't believe that Piper is one years old already! This past year has really gone fast! She has changed our lives in so many (WONDERFUL) ways and we can't even remember what life was like before her.
We had her birthday party last Sunday (March 15th). She had so much fun and really enjoyed having cake for the first time. I will post those pictures soon.

Valentines Day

I can't believe that Piper is 11 months old already! This year went by SUPER FAST! Being a mom has changed my life in so many ways, but I LOVE it, wouldn't change a think, and couldn't imagine my life without my little chicken! I miss her when I am not with her and amazed at how much she learns and grows every day. Not a day goes by that she doesn't make me smile or laugh.

A Day in the City

Vaughn, Piper and I went to the city recently to spend the day with my brother, sister and Dan. (soon to be brother-in-law) It was a good day. The weather was nice, so Kristin and I took Piper for a walk and did a little shopping in the cute stores by her house. Below are a few pictures from that day.

Kissing Cousins

Hi Everyone,

Piper had tubes in her ears yesterday. We drove down at 5:00 AM to Children's Memorial Hospital. They did the surgery and removed the skin tag from her right ear. All went well. She handled the anasetia well. I am hoping this is the end of her ear infections. (7 in 10 months)

Below is a picture of Piper and her cousin Lily sharing a "Christmas Kiss". Now we just have to teach Piper that French Kissing is not always appropriate.

Not a Big Fan of Snow...

About a week ago, just after we had our last big big snow, we decided to get Piper all bundled up, and head outside for a sled ride. As you can see from the pics below, she was NOT thrilled. Maybe she takes after me and doesn't like the snow. Oh well, we'll try again another time.

Christmas 2008

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope your holidays were happy and healthy. Piper had a very nice first Christmas. She received a lot of really nice gifts.

Piper had two seperate ear infections in December. That makes a total of 6 in her short nine months. We go on Friday to see a Pediatric ENT to talk about having tubes put in. Hopefully they will schedule the surgery sooner rather than later. Poor thing has been miserable.
