Updated Room Pictures

Last night we put the dots on the walls of the baby's room. They look so good!! I couldn't be happier!! We only did two walls as we are waiting for one wall to dry, and waiting for the crib to arrive before we finish the last wall. Attached are a couple of pictures. The dots are brown and white, although the white might be a little hard to see in the pictures.

32 Weeks

I went for a 32 week ultra sound today. It's probably going to be the last time I get so see Piper before I get to meet her. It's a little hard to see her now, but I was able to see her little face. While the technician was running over all of her organs, she came to her bladder and told me that she had to pee. It was funny. Piper is in the right position and VERY LOW!! That makes me wonder what it will feel like when she actually "drops". Whoa!!!

The tech did try to verify that she is "still a girl", but it was a little difficult. She said that she is pretty sure she's a girl, but since Piper is face down, it's hard to see everything from the back.

Getting Close with the Room

Angie and Natha came back this weekend to put a 2nd coat of paint on the baby's room. Along with that, they put a pearlized finish over one wall. This will be the wall where her name will go. The polka dot decals are on order and should be here this week. We moved the dresser into the room and hung the one picture we have so far! (Thanks Shannon!!) I am attaching pictures of the room in progress. (Click on the pictures to make them bigger) I will post more when the crib arrives and we have the polka dots on the walls. Thank you very much Angie and Natha for helping Vaughn paint!! You all did a wonderful job!!

30 Weeks

Well, not too much to report, I just wanted to let everyone know that things are moving right along.

We are starting the baby's room this weekend, and I can't wait. I am posting a picture of the dresser. It's pretty.

I hope all is well with everyone, we will post pictures of the room when it's complete. It will take two weekends to finish.

Today's Appointment

Well, I went to the doctor today for my 28 week appointment. It turns out her weight is right on target!! I guess I shouldn't believe everything I read. I took the Glucose test today and should have those results back tomorrow. My next two appointments are three weeks apart instead of every two because things are going good. I have also started looking into day care. My wonderful sister-in-law Sheri has agreed to watch Piper 3 days a week while we work. So I just need to find someone for two days. We are very lucky to have Sheri since it's always nice to have family.
